Things worth bothering with
There's an amazing number of books, music, movies, games, art, clothes, shoes
and anything else that can be exchanged for a unit of monetary value in this
world.
Unfortunately most of them are not worth the money their worth.*
I will, however, make an effort to point out to you what is worth laying out your
hard earned money for (or at least taking the bus two extra stops to the library to
acquire).
* Think about that for a
minute - remember that in
2008 it costs $0.02 to produce
one shiny penny and you'll
understand what I mean.
Sadly, I can tell you one thing that's not worth bothering with - Disney's Pirates
Scrabble. Not only is the board substantially smaller than the box - leading to
banged up corners by the time I opened it, but the letter tiles are printed, not
etched and the board itself is poorly printed, leading to triple word score boxes
that are nearly invisible after only a few months use.
